Middle School Quality Initiative Tournament #3

Dear Tuna,

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!  This week we celebrate New York City's first Valentines Day Invitational and this weekend we shout out our love to the incredible debate community of New York City! You would think at the beginning of Winter Break weekend with schools out, Presidents Day Weekend, Valentines Day and Snow Alerts that no one would show up for a debate tournament on a Saturday, February 14th.  We were wrong.  Over 300 participants showed their love for debate and education opportunities! Thank you to all our students, parents, judges, volunteers, teachers, coaches, staff, and everyone for an incredible Valentines Day Tournament! And another shout out to our High School Travel Team, teachers, students, staff, and volunteers at the Harvard Debate Tournament this weekend!  And so a Happy Valentines Day thanks for everyone showing their love for debate this weekend and every day in New York City.  Happy Valentines Day.

Sincerely,
The New York City Urban Debate League

This weekend our High School Travel Team competes at Harvard University.  The Harvard Tournament is one of the largest and most competitive tournaments in the nation.
