iDebate Rwanda Fundraises for USA Tour

Dear Friends of iDebate Rwanda,

Greetings from Kigali. It’s a great pleasure to be able to write to you to share some of the updates of iDebate Rwanda. As you might know, we started iDebate Rwanda in October 2012 with the aim of creating a platform for young Rwandans to share their ideas and debate about issues that affect them.
For the past two years, we have been busy working at setting up the first ever Kigali Debate League and also working with our partners in the Region to set up the East African Debate League which brings together schools from Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. The growth and the development of our students has been tremendous and if you want to hear more about it please do not hesitate to check out our website and please do check out our promotional Video  which explains what we do (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Snvhw0Odf4c)

At the Occasion of the 20th Commemoration of the Genocide against Tutsis in Rwanda, iDebate Rwanda is hosting a tour of the USA in the fall of 2014. Currently, there are several institutions that have confirmed their intent to host the team, these include New York University, Liberty University, University of Pittsburg, Southern Methodist University, Weber State University, Vermont University, Wake Forest, and many more.
To make the tour a success, iDebate Rwanda is hosting an indiegogo campaign to help us raise money to cover the cost associated with the tour. (http://bit.ly/iDebateUSATour )

We come to you again to help us. We want you to be an Ambassador for the campaign. This simply means that your role as an ambassador would be to share the link with your friends and families and community so that we can attain the goal of raising the money needed for the tour. We also hope that you will be able to donate to make this tour a reality and to allow us to share our story with the world.

Thank you for your friendship with iDebate Rwanda.

Hope to hear from you soon.
