International Public Policy Forum - Big Money, Great Trip, Excellent Experience for All
I wanted to take a moment to briefly update you on the 2014-15 International Public Policy Forum (IPPF). Now that school is back in session, we hope all of you will help “spread the word” about the contest.
To date, we have 150 teams registered from schools around the globe. On October 22, these teams will submit their qualifying round essays on the topic, “Resolved: Mass surveillance is not a justified method of governmental intelligence gathering."
Attached is a flyer that we hope you can share with your contacts in the debate community. It offers detailed information about how to participate in this year’s competition. In addition, the flyer can be found here: http://www.ippfdebate.com/misc/pdfs/201415FlyerFinal.pdf.
If you’d like to review this year’s IPPF Topic Primer, it can be accessed at this link: http://www.ippfdebate.com/misc/pdfs/IPPF_Topic_Primer_2014_2015.pdf.
An article that will be published in this month’s Rostrum magazine. The article reports on the success of last year’s program, highlights benefits of our competition, and previews the 2014-15 contest.
As always, please visit www.ippfdebate.com for updates on this year’s competition. Thanks in advance for your ongoing support and partnership!
Sincerely,
Andrea Burnett
