USA WUDC/BP Debate Gets its Own Website

Hi everyone,

I'm very excited to introduce to you all a new resource for the US BP community: usudebate.org.

This website has a couple of purposes:
  • facilitating USUDA votes and other business.
  • making information about the USUDA and BP debate easily available to potential expansion schools.
  • centralizing a number of useful tools for the community.

Features
  • a schedule which can be accessed by anyone on the internet via Google or another search engine. Brent Northup has kindly agreed to continue in his role as schedule master, and will be providing frequent updates.
  • a results page, where results from future US BP tournaments will be aggregated in an easy-to-consult fashion.
  • a membership page, which will streamline the process of joining the USUDA or updating your school's membership.
  • USUDA news.
  • Pages for updates from future hosts.
  • Links to the USUDA constitution, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Info about the USUDA for those with questions.
  • Lots more; check it out for yourself!
Going forward
At present, while it has its own url, the website is on free Wordpress.com hosting. This is suboptimal, and I'll be sending out some thoughts on what to do about it soon. 

Updates will continue over the coming months, especially once tournaments start up again in the fall.
