AGM 2015 Election of Directors Taimur Bandey – 54 votes (Elected) Mark Gabriel – 53 votes (Elected) Cynthia “Cindi” Timmons – 40 votes (Elected) Future of WSDC Ltd. Number of valid ballots case = 68* * A further two ballots were spoiled and three ballots was deemed ineligible. Round 1 Option 1: Close down WSDC Ltd. – 9 votes Option 2: Keep WSDC Ltd. registered in the UK but make changes to it. – 31 votes Option 3: Explore possibilities for a partnership or merger of WSDC Ltd. with a third party. – 28 votes Round 2 (redistributing the preferences of the 9 votes for Option 1) Option 2: Keep WSDC Ltd. registered in the UK but make changes to it. – 38 votes Option 3: Explore possibilities for a partnership or merger of WSDC Ltd. with a third party. – 30 votes Option 2 (Keep WSDC Ltd. registered in the UK but make changes to it) is carried.

Dear all with the AGM coming to a close, members of WSDC Ltd. can now vote on the motion before the members and for the election of Directors. You can find the ballot here: http://schoolsdebate.com/members/agm-2015-voting/ To be counted as a member, and eligible to vote, you must have registered as a member of WSDC Ltd. before 6pm GMT on Friday, December 4th. Schools Debate Tournament in Bermuda

The Tournament saw 19 teams from 8 schools – a total of 57 debaters – participate in the 3 round all-day competition assisted by coaches, speakers and timers, 43 volunteer judges, and with supportive friends and family in attendance. The Prepared Motion for the Senior School was “This House would ban the use of nuclear energy” while the Middle School debated “This House would require Bermuda’s students to study a foreign language from the age of 5”. The 3rd Round Impromptu Motion for all was “This House would ban animal testing for cosmetic products”. .
